CONGRATULATIONS on your engagement and upcoming wedding. What an exciting time for you and your fiance. Whatever you envision your wedding ceremony to look like - together we can bring you dreams to life. I create ceremonies for all love stories - love is love.
Our first step is to meet with each other for an informal chat. This is your opportunity to share your vision and ideas for your wedding day. This is, of course, at no cost and is obligation free.
It is really important to have the right connection with your Marriage Celebrant and if you decide that I am right for you and I'm sure you will! Then together we can start to create your special and wonderful ceremony. All you need to do is pay your deposit to secure your date.
You will be guided through everything related to the ceremony, I am in regular contact with you throughout the whole process. You will also recieve two booklets. The first is my resource kit that includes timelines, processes, sample ceremonies, ideas and the legalities required. You will also recieve my Poems and Readings booklet which can be helpful in making some decisions or sparking ideas that you may not have thought of. I will be there to guide you every step of the way. Our next step is to meet again to discuss your requirements and start planning your ceremony. I take time to get to know my couples personally, I create a unique, meaningful and personalised ceremony, that will capture and showcase your beliefs, values, and hopes and dreams for your future together.
Once you’re happy with your ceremony that we have planned together, it is rehearsal time! I highly recommend having a rehearsal as close as possible to your actual date, at your ceremony venue and with your key people. This helps to make your day run with ease and is a great opportunity for us to sort out any questions that you may have and lets everyone involved feel comfortable and relaxed.
On your wedding day, I will ensure everything is set up and ready to go well before your guests arrive and can help calm any unwanted nerves! Our planning and preparation together will ensure that your vision for your ceremony is warm, heartfelt and meaningful. My Fee to create your memoriable & engaging ceremony is $650.00 incl gst (travel costs may incur if outside of Tauranga/Papamoa)

What My Marriage Celebrant Fee Includes
- An initial obligation free face to face meeting. This is a great time for you to share with me your ideas for creating your perfect ceremony. We cover the legal aspects of getting married and answer any questions you may have.
- Once you have completed a booking form and your date is confirmed, you will receive my Resource Kit. This is a comprehensive guide which includes sample vows, rituals and helpful tips for a stress free day. You also receive my Readings & Poems booklet which includes music suggestions and tips for incorporating these into your ceremony.
- A second meeting, where we will go through your vision and ideas for the ceremony. This is a great opportunity for us to discuss everything that you would like to include. Shortly after this meeting I will email you your draft ceremony.
- Guidance throughout the whole process of your wedding day, from the legalities to writing your vows.
- A Questionnaire that helps me to get to know you better to enable me to write your personal and unique ceremony. No love story is the same!
- As many meetings, phone calls and emails as you need to work together to create your vision.
- A rehearsal prior to the wedding day. This is a fun run through of the chorography of the ceremony with your key people, and a lot of laughter! This ensures your wedding party are confident in their roles, and eases any unwanted nerves.
- Officiating at your ceremony with fun, warmth, emotion and professionalism.
- You will receive a copy of your marriage ceremony script as a keepsake to remember your special day.
- Completion of all legal paperwork on the day, and registering all documentation with the approved authorities.
- I have my own PA system and microphone so everyone will hear your ceremony and your heartfelt promises to one another. You can also play your music through my PA system via Bluetooth.

Micro Weddings
Sometimes, for whatever reason – maybe family dynamics, ill health or just wanting to have a quick intimate wedding for the both of you is what you would prefer, or perhaps you want to get married whilst visiting and touring around New Zealand.
Today, lots of couples choose a small wedding because it simply makes more sense to them as a couple. A small or micro wedding is singularly intimate, special and powerful. It alleviates a ton of pressure and planning woes and allows two people to enjoy the sentiment of their ceremony without frills or distraction. And not only does it ease responsibilities, it can also cost a lot less. Maybe you just aren’t big wedding people.
Whether you're overwhelmed by the thought of a large-scale wedding, short on time and budget, or dealing with complicated family dynamics, a micro wedding might be exactly the kind of wedding you’re looking for.
After our initial conversation I will send you a short questionnaire to answer so that I can write a ceremony that is unique and special for you both. Don’t be worried about receiving a generic ceremony I still write a personalised ceremony that reflects who you are as a couple.
